Dr. Andrew Gorgy is a Royal College-certified plastic surgeon with comprehensive training in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed his medical education in Egypt before subsequently completing the requirements for the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC). He went on to complete his residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at McGill University and obtained certification in Plastic Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Gorgy has broad experience in the assessment and surgical management of skin and soft-tissue conditions, including benign and malignant skin lesions, cysts, lipomas, scars, wounds, and hand conditions. His plastic surgery training places particular emphasis on careful surgical technique, appropriate tissue handling, wound closure, and achieving the best possible functional and aesthetic outcome. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Gorgy holds a Master of Science in Surgical Innovation from McGill University. He has been actively involved in clinical research and academic surgery, with work spanning reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery, breast surgery, surgical outcomes, patient safety, capsular contracture, and medico-legal issues in plastic surgery.
