1. Rapid Assessment & Biopsy: If you have a suspicious lesion, we prioritize your appointment. During your consultation, our surgeons will examine the area. If skin cancer is suspected, we will perform a biopsy to send to a pathology lab for definitive diagnosis.
2. Surgical Excision with Clear Margins: Under local anesthesia, the surgeon removes the tumor along with a "safety margin" of healthy-looking skin. The excised tissue is sent to pathology to confirm the margins are clear.
3. Expert Plastic Surgery Reconstruction: Because our team consists of board-certified plastic surgeons, we are uniquely qualified to reconstruct the surgical site immediately after the cancer is removed.
